Bellande Latest Professional Poker Player To Join Team Bodog
Jean-Robert Bellande was a contestant on the most recent Survivor television show set in China. He has become famous to those who did not know him.
For those that do know him, he is well recognized as an accomplished online casino poker player. Bodog saw the potential in Bellande and announced today that they have signed him to be part of Team Bodog.
“We’re extremely excited to have Jean-Robert join our select team of world-class poker players. With his charismatic personality and his prowess as a poker player, Jean-Robert embodies the Bodog lifestyle. He is a perfect fit for Team Bodog,” said Alwyn Morris, the Bodog North American CEO.
Over his career, Bellande has accumulated over $800,000 in earnings from tournaments where he has cashed. He is known around the tables as a player who talks a lot of trash, and that plays aggressively.
He is joining what is becoming an impressive list of pros that have been assembled by Bodog. Josh Arieh, Evelyn Ng, and David Williams are already members of Team Bodog.
Bellande is making his debut for his new team this weekend at the 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship in Las Vegas. The World Series of Poker is this summer and different teams are getting ready to be represented by signing on pros.
